Get Involved (Coming Soon!)

Thank you for volunteering for the 2021 ArtFest by the Sea!

We depend on your commitment to participate. Your presence and prompt arrival for your scheduled shifts are absolutely necessary. It is very important to remember that if your schedule must change you can log onto where you registered and change your schedule, using your username and password. If you have an emergency, please contact us immediately by calling the Chamber at (561) 746-7111.

While volunteering, please remember to treat everyone, visitors and other volunteers, with courtesy. If problems occur, please contact a Chamber Staff Member. We are there to assist you. Remember to Have Fun! Please let them know of any concerns you may have. We want to make your volunteer experience fun and safe, so let us know what we can do to help.

Safety is always the first priority; this is why we ask that no alcoholic beverages be consumed while volunteering, or while wearing the volunteers T-shirt on event site.

Parking is at Florida Power and Light – 700 Universe Boulevard Juno Beach, FL 33408. After you park there will be trolleys to shuttle you. These trolleys shuttle from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Make sure you take the trolley to the South End (A1A/Donald Ross). Once you arrive enter the festival and the Volunteer Check-In will be up on your left at the Chamber tent.

Please plan to report to volunteer check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your work shift. Here you will be given your volunteer T-shirt and instructions. Lunch will be provided to you in the Chamber tent at South end (A1A/Donald Ross) of the event where you checked in for your shift.

At the end of your shift if you have not been relieved, please tell a supervisor and stay in your work area until a replacement comes to relieve you.

Once your shift is complete you are welcome to enjoy the festival. If you have a closing shift and would like to arrive early to walk around the festival please feel free to do so. NO alcoholic beverages are to be consumed by volunteers “on-duty”.

Dress comfortably for your work area and the weather. The weather is unpredictable in March, so dress accordingly. Comfortable shoes are a must and closed toed shoes are recommended for safety reasons. ArtFest by the Sea will not be cancelled because of rain and we will still need all of our volunteers. Bring rain gear to your shift if rain is predicted.

Every volunteer receives the official ArtFest by the Sea Blue CREW T-shirt. This T-shirt must be worn while you are working at the festival. Please do not make any alterations to your T-shirt while you are volunteering for ArtFest by the Sea. Your volunteer T-shirt will be provided to you at check-in. If you volunteer for more than one shift, remember to wear your volunteer T-shirt for the subsequent shifts. Only one T-shirt per volunteer.

Your volunteer assignment will be reviewed with you when you arrive at the event and you will be given complete instructions once you meet your team captain at the event. Below is a review of the different volunteer areas so that you can have a general idea of what you will be doing while you are volunteering.

Merchandise: You’ve got it made in the shade by helping us out in merchandise! Volunteers will assist in setting up festival stores, keeping up with inventory needs, and operating the location on site. Help make everyone look great in ArtFest-duds!

Beer & Soda: Here you will be refreshing our patrons out for an enjoyable weekend. Please no smoking OR drinking in the Beverage areas. Brown Distributing will be checking the Beer tents & Event Staff will be checking the Soda trailer and stocking periodically, throughout the day. CASH ONLY – NO CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS. NO ONE UNDER 21 SHOULD BE SERVED ALCOHOL. PLEASE CHECK ALL IDs.

Gates Greeters: As a Gates Greeters you will be at either end of the festival; North Greeters at Juno Beach Park (Marsinski/A1A) and South Greeters at Loggerhead Park (Donald Ross/A1A). You will be their first stop after the parking lot. You may need to remind patrons of how long the trolley runs or help point them in a specific direction. Don’t worry there will be maps for guidance as well!

Trolley Greeters: We need hearty volunteers with a ton of energy to help greet and direct patrons in the ArtFest by the Sea parking lots. Job duties include making sure parking is done efficiently throughout the day to ensure maximum capacity is achieved and working with the Trolleys. If you want to help make it as easy as pie to park and get to the event, then this is the committee for you.

Thank you for taking the time to review this important information for volunteers. We hope you found it useful and look forward to seeing you at ArtFest by the Sea. If you have any additional questions that were not answered, please contact us directly at (561) 746-7111.
